OUR WORK

Experience in Education and Humanitarian works Health Literacy Zambia has remained engaged in education sector through its project called PUNZISA ZAMBIA. The organization has since established partnerships with a number of primary orphanage schools in different project areas and is looking forward to forming a number of parents' education committees (PECs). For the sustainability of these orphanage schools and its effective operations; Health Literacy Zambia always uses the strategies such as book and stationary donations.

EXPERIENCE IN HEALTH

Health Literacy Zambia is at most a group of medical students from different institutions and also students pursuing other courses but have taken a desire to vest themselves adequately with healthy knowledge and passionate to share it with the nation at large we carry out medical check-ups and health expos.

TARGET GROUPS

Health Literacy Zambia focus is on the socio-economically disadvantaged groups of women, youth and children. Not overlooking the overall social and cultural practices of their respective societies and the overall power imbalances and discrimination that exist at all levels; the major focus among these groups, is again on most vulnerable and the marginalized ones. HLZ also focuses on the inclusion of minorities and special groups such as widows and physically disabled persons and elderly people
